Fast Help When Your Home Has Been Hit

Severe weather can leave behind more than visible damage. Missing shingles, cracked roofing materials, fallen branches, damaged siding, and water intrusion can all put your home at risk if repairs are delayed.

With more than 55 years of experience serving Wisconsin homeowners, our team understands how stressful storm damage can be. We provide detailed inspections, clear recommendations, and quality workmanship to help you move forward.

Your Local Partner After Storm Damage

Not Every Storm Damage Issue Is Obvious

After a major storm, it is common to notice obvious problems like missing shingles or fallen branches. However, some of the most serious issues are hidden, including cracked roofing materials, damaged flashing, and areas where water can enter your home over time.

Our team provides a complete assessment to determine the extent of the damage and document what needs to be repaired. We inspect your roof, siding, gutters, windows, and other exterior components to identify storm-related issues and help protect your property.

Helping Homeowners Navigate the Insurance Process

Storm damage repairs can feel overwhelming, especially when dealing with an insurance company and understanding what is covered. We help make the process easier by providing detailed documentation, photos, and information about the damage found during your inspection.

While your insurance adjuster determines coverage, our team helps you understand the repair process and provides the information needed to support your claim.

Common Types of Storm Damage We Repair

Hail Damage

Hail storms can cause significant damage even when your roof appears intact from the ground. Large hail, including baseball-sized hail, can crack shingles, damage protective granules, and weaken roofing materials.

Signs of hail damage may include:

Wind Damage

High winds can loosen or remove roofing materials, leaving your home exposed to water intrusion. Wind damage often occurs around roof edges, flashing, and areas where materials are already weakened.

Common signs include:

Fallen Branches & Storm Debris

Severe storms can cause trees and branches to fall onto your roof, siding, windows, or other parts of your property. Even smaller impacts can create damage that is difficult to see without a professional inspection.

We can assess affected areas, determine the necessary repairs, and help restore your home’s exterior.

Storm Damage Roof Repair FAQ

Some storm damage is easy to spot, such as missing shingles, fallen branches, or visible exterior damage. However, hail and wind damage are often harder to identify from the ground.

Signs of storm damage can include cracked shingles, damaged flashing, granule loss, dents on gutters or siding, water stains, or new leaks inside your home.

A professional inspection can help determine whether your roof or exterior has been affected and whether repairs are needed.

It is usually a good idea to have your roof inspected first, so you understand the extent of the damage before beginning the insurance process.

Our team can provide detailed documentation, including photos and notes from the inspection, to help you better understand what happened and provide information for your insurance claim.

No. The right solution depends on the severity of the damage, the age of your roof, and the overall condition of your roofing system.

Some storms cause isolated damage that can be repaired, while others create enough damage that a full replacement makes more sense. We provide honest recommendations based on what your home actually needs.

The timeline depends on the extent of the damage, material availability, weather conditions, and the size of the project.

Some repairs can be completed quickly, while larger projects such as full roof replacements require more planning. Our team will explain what to expect before work begins.

After severe weather, many homeowners receive visits from contractors they have never heard of. While some companies may provide quality work, storm chasers often lack local experience and may disappear after the project is complete.

Working with an established local contractor means you have a team with a reputation in your community, experience with Wisconsin weather, and a company you can contact if questions arise later.

South Central Wisconsin Roofing was a local company known to us. The Owens Corning system they use is the best we saw and it has a Fifty Year, transferable warranty. They also were the best price on replacing our roof. Many said they couldn't start for some time; South Central started a week after receiving our deposit. Their crew showed up on time and wasted no time. Old roof was off, new roof on and all cleaned up in one day. Overall outstanding; price, product, labor and importantly, people. We recommend them, period.
